

William B. Lawson, M.D. completed his medical residency in adult psychiatry at Stanford University and afterwards a fellowship in psychopharmacology at the National Institute of Mental Health. A former president of the Black Psychiatrists of America, Dr. Lawson has received over $6M in funding, and authored over 200 publications for his research focused on mental health and substance abuse disparities, particularly within minority communities.
Dr Lawson’s prestigious positions and awards include serving as a professor and Associate Dean of Health Disparities at Dell Medical School , and receiving the Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association award, American Psychiatric Foundation’s Award for Advancing Minority Mental Health (2013), the Solomon Carter Fuller Award for African American Pioneers (2014), the George Winokur Clinical Research Award from the American Academy of Clinical Psychiatrists (2017); and the E.Y. Williams Clinical Scholar of Distinction Award from the National Medical Association.


Tony Brown M.D., PhD a neurophysiologist, trained in neurofeedback holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard University, medical and research degrees from University of Science Art and Technology, with additional medical credentials from Harvard Medical School. While serving in the United States Army’s Berlin Brigade in Germany, Brown researched Deep Brain Stimulation at the Berlin branch of Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences and The Berlin School of Experimental Psychology and later in the Temporal Cognition Laboratory at New York State Psychiatric Institute, Division of Biopsychology at Columbia University.
Dr. Brown is member of the Harvard Alumni for Mental Health, the Harvard Business School, Healthcare Alumni Association and the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital – a psychiatric affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Brown’s awards include a Harvard Summer School scholarship, the White House Volunteer Service Award from President of the United States, and he co-directed the Global Neuroscience Initiative Foundation which received the Harvard Medical School, Dean’s Community Award.
